Your dream job awaits! Be Well Therapy Studio is growing and looking for a dedicated, compassionate, and motivated therapist to join our team. We are an independent contractor position to help us mutually grow while offering quality mental health care to our community. You will provide individual and couples therapy with a variety of mental health and relationship concerns. We are looking for someone with strong clinical skills to work with a wide range of client issues and a desire to continue to grow, especially in providing support to youth, adults & couples. We are also looking for someone who focuses on a trauma-informed therapeutic approach, with skills in trauma-specific training and/or EMDR as an asset. Please note this position is ideal for an individual seeking casual or part-time work in a private practice setting. Referrals are not guaranteed but the aim is to build a consistent and reliable caseload.

Our ideal candidate should have the flexibility to offer both in-person and virtual care, be available to offer 1-2 evening and/or weekend appointment availabilities per week and aspire to build a gradual and consistent caseload. We value a collaborative and come-as-you-are environment, which means yes...we wear slippers in session!

​You hold a Master's level degree or higher in the areas of clinical psychology, or counselling psychology

You are registered with the CRPO and hold current good standing

Must be eligible to practice in the province of Ontario

Must possess up-to-date Professional Liability Insurance (proof of insurance required)

Willingness to engage in continuing education opportunities independently or within the practice

Minimum 2-3 years of experience providing psychotherapy in Canada

Timeliness in note-taking and ensuring clinical documentation is updated and complete
-
Experience working as an Independent Contractor is an asset

Experience using the OWL practice management system is an asset

Certification in EMDR is preferred

Willingness to offer at least 1-2 evening and/or weekend offerings per week

Availability to see a minimum of 8-10 clients weekly

Engaged in ongoing clinical supervision (if still required as part of your licensing requirements)

Strong communication skills and timeliness in attending to client needs

Strong time management, independence, and organizational skills

Willingness to work in a hybrid model of in-office and virtual (must have your own technology to offer virtual sessions)
