Grief & Loss Therapy

Are your thoughts of grief overwhelming your days? Have you recently experiences a loss and struggling to process and find closure with the experience. Grief is a very real and common struggle we as humans all dace, but help is available to overcome your daily struggles!

 

The good news is that managing grief is very possible. Many people don’t realize just how many treatment options there actually are for managing grief and how effective they can be. We tailor our approach to the individual client because every presentation and underlying cause of grief is unique.

We use a combination of CBT, DBT, Emotion-Focused Therapy, Internal Family Systems Therapy, and Mindfulness techniques to help empower you to manage your grief symptoms. We’ll also advocate for alternative therapies such as chiropractic, massage, yoga, hypnotherapy, naturopath, and acupuncture, as we believe in mind/body integration when it comes to overcoming anxiety.

Together we will explore your thoughts, emotions, and, behaviours associated with grief. With the benefit of fresh insight and nervous system regulation, you will be able to identify patterns that are holding you back from health and happiness while gaining the strength and coping strategies to overcome them.

 

We offer flexible scheduling both in-person and virtually because we want therapy to be as accessible, convenient, and comfortable for you as possible.
